Interesting - the GB site lists no 150's, and the Australian site lists no Liberty's of any size!

The world market is a puzzle to me.

Learners in Australia can ride any motorcycle that is LAMS (Learner Approved Motorcycles) and that deals with the power to weight ratio mainly.  Years ago it use to be you could only have up to a 250cc motocycle for a learner but now there are so many more choices available.  Some bikes have their engines restricted just for this.  example:https://www.peterstevens.com.au/new-bikes/brand/kawasaki-ninja-650l-lams-abs-2016.html

In Ohio you can walk in and take written road rules test (nearly impossible to fail)....then ride home on your 115hp Yamaha YZF-R6 bike with a permit.
Later you take a riding test - unless you've already killed yourself with the permit.
If you pass that - you'll have to face a "read line 6 please, which side do you see a red dot" test every couple of years. But the cool thing is you'll never again have to prove you can ride, or drive, safely again as long as you live.
Insurance?? "Tell us you have some. OK?"
Takes a dozen or more drunk driving convictions to jeopardize your freedom. Many just keep on driving after it's taken away - or in some States, buy a 50cc scoot and build a 60mph screamer to get back out there.
A great country in some respects - but a lousy road use system.
