is paying for freight standard?
« on: August 02, 2018, 02:16:26 AM »
Looking to buy a Kymco but the dealer wants to charge 200.00 for "freight" & says the charge cannot be reduced or waived. I would think that something like that would already be included in the MSRP.

Is it a legitimate standard charge that is passed onto the purchaser , or just pure profit for the dealer that I should ask to be waived ?

No it’s legitimate even says so on Kymcos site.  Though not sure if it’s actually $200 or if that’s just what they are allowed to charge.  But, have had to cough it up everytime.
