Agility City 50 4T 2013 carburetor
« on: July 12, 2018, 12:58:47 PM »
Need to change the carb on a Agility City 50 2013.
I just want to swap with the original one.

I've found this one: https://www.scoot-tuning.com/product-p/307-19019.

Would it fit as a direct replacement?

Thanks!

https://www.scoot-tuning.com/product-p/307-19019.htm . . appears to be compatible for that application.

Have you tried cleaning the jets in the present carb . . which may, or may not, have tamper-resistent fuel bowl fasteners?

Cleaned the jets, changed the jets, checked fuel line.

Got spark and compression, fuel up to the carb but sparkplug is dry.

Might be the float.
Auto bypass is beat up, not seated well because of stripped screws.

It's the original carb, so I figured I could just swap it for a new one instead of trying to pinpoint the problem and buy a bunch of repair parts...

The reason I was asking about the replacement carb is beacause they list a bunch of carbs as compatible but they all have different measurements (18.5mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm).

ALWAYS be skeptical of ACTUAL carb specs . . example!

19mm throttle bore and 85 main jet should be suitable for 50cc stock displacement.  Without increased displacement, larger throttle bores may slow down the flow, which may slow the carb slide main jet needle lifting, which may cause lean-mixture bogging.

20 mm carb works great.
