2011 people 50 2T

Hello, new to the forum....... looks like I'm going to pick up a new to me with very low mileage 2011 people 50 2T from dad who has had it from new but it wont start.  I'm guessing that it has got to be something carb related, it has less than a couple hundred miles on it.  I'm wondering what kind of speed can I expect to see and what should I look at to get the scooter running.

35mph...

Empty and clean fuel tank. Change filter and clean carburator. Put fresh fuel after. I’d change the spark plug and empty the oil reservoir and put fresh quality 2stroke oil.
Drain the transmission oil and change it. Also checking the air filter is s good idea.

Battery should be dried.. ull need a new one but to start you can kick start [emoji12]

That to get it running.. then to ride safe change the brake fluid and inspect pads and shoes. Tires should be inspected for any type of cracks snd set to the correct pressure.

thanks for the quick detailed response!! do you have a link to an online store to order spark plugs, filters, fluids etc?

thanks Again, really looking forward to picking this up, I have to drive about 1000 miles to go get it and I want to order everything to get it running so that I have everything with me to get it running when i pick it up before i drive back.  I have a few days while I'm home to work on it.

If there’s a better online retailer for kymco spares im not aware due that im in south america.

Engine needs a synthetic 2 stroke oil
Final drive 80w90 manual gearbox oil
Dot4 in the brake system
Fuel any gas station hehhehe
