Sea Foam for Gas Tank?
« on: September 26, 2018, 09:50:55 AM »
I been using the Sea Foam for the gas often.  Maybe every couple of months I am putting this stuff into the tank to give it a clean up.  Is this OK? To much or?

If you're using Top Tier fuels,  you've no need to put any further additives in your gas tank. All the proper amounts of cleaning, etc., stuff has already been added to fuels carrying the Top Tier designation.
It seems most Canadian stations are already selling only Top Tier fuels.

It won’t hurt,to put it in every so often. I use sea foam or star-tron, just in case, every few months. You want to trust the oil companies, but you never know.

If I won't be riding a scoot for a while, say a month, I'll put an ounce of Seafoam or Stabil in the tank to keep the gas from going bad. Otherwise it's probably a waste of money...unless it buys you peace of mind...and who can put a price on that?

$12.49 for 16 fluid ounce can of P.O.M.
Just wave it over the scooter - or think about using it, but don't.
Has the same miracle effect.

Well, like Stuo says - the scooter might not , but the rider does.
I'd be more worried about putting cheapo rollers in my expensive scooter.
