help with side stand!!!

my side stand is loose, what i mean is that i lift it and it falls almost half way down and shuts off the ignition. How do i fix this?

 Probably lost the spring take a good look at it. May just need to re attach or find a replacement. Just remove it or zip tie it  up if you have to order one. Personaly I don't ever use the side stand but those 500's are a bit heavy.
Kymco peoples too many ;) I'm not an expert just a full time hobbiest.

..take a look at the fasteners, and yeah, the spring....not a safe condition to have a saggy kick-stand....

..remove it and bypass the switch if necessary...
..every mod (action) necessitates a (reaction) mod..

Get it fixed,  wire it up or take it off.  Riding with a sagging side stand could be dangerous.  Sounds like you are missing a spring.

You might step down on that side and catch the loop with you pant leg and off you go.

It could also dig in during a turn.
