Back end vibration from X-iting 400

Has anyone experienced a vibration from back end of low mileage X-iting 400's ? Gen 1

It's not tyre related.

How do you know it is not tire related? What brand came with the machine?

Whatever the OEM tyre is. Probably as Maxxis tyre as it's only done 1000 miles.

It went in for it's initial service and now vibrates from the back.

Sadly it's not my bike so I'm just trouble shooting.

What do you think ?

regardless---first rear tire needs to be checked for being round, and bead seated, then balanced....US most scooter shops cannot/do not balance scooter wheels.   I use "Ride-On" instead.   Then of course factory suggested air pressure.

Then some vibration can come from drive belt/pulleys.

Of course paid for service...take it back and let them figure it out.

No rear vibration ....until after 1st service.
Servicing procedures do not include messing with either tire - except checking for proper inflation.
Nor would a first service involve opening the CVT.
Retorqeing major assemblies, such as rear wheel, brakes and shocks are supposed to be performed.
Something overtightened?....like a wheel bearing....tire overinflated?
Scooter dropped off lift?
 A puzzle....started a rear vibration after undergoing first service.
???

Yup I agree with you. They aren't going to be changing much, not even changing the sliders so it's a bit of a pickle.

Big change after first service like Stig said. Considering the total lack of information other than symptoms I would say the balance weights that probably ON the rear wheel are now MISSING.

Yeah, sorry I didn't get a more detailed set of symptoms but as I say I'm helping the Warranty Dept of Kymco UK so don't shoot the messenger.

It's probably the tyre but it could be the drive or the engine vibrating under load until it smooths itself out but if it is why does the owner suggest it's coming from the back ?

That would transmit itself through the chassis not the tail.

I don't know as I'm just throwing it out there as someone may have noticed something similar.

I beg your forgiveness for being rather blunt! I am curious as to how the Kymco UK organization would pick a normal citizen to assist. Kymco USA should seriously consider doing the same! It is a wonderful idea! C'mon now, fess up! You a time-honoured cycle writer-author or retired Norton historian and not just a normal guy?
