"Today is my last day at this job after 29 years.
At the end of the work day I sign papers, turn in my keys, passcode card, uniform and boots. My teenage daughter tried to elicit a promise from me that I would not do this standing in front of my new, idiot, boss in my boxer shorts, white socks and Boston Red Sox hat.
(I'm sitting at Tim Hortons this morning confident in my clean socks and underpants. I guarantee nothing! 8 more hours to go. )
The Like200i started just fine this morning after sitting idle for 3 weeks. (new boss banned me from my safe parking spot at work *)
I may or may not have a change of clothes in the Bestem 929 case.

edit--- many nights I am back at this job, in my dreams. Loved working for the State. * 7 days after no longer permitted to park my scooter - I gave my 2 weeks notice, "'Morning John. I'm going to need 5 gal more paint - and, Oh yeah - Just called personnel. I quit."
