Windshields Xtown 300i 2019
« on: March 08, 2019, 03:57:47 PM »
We had a couple days of 21F temps in the morning.  Rode my Xtown with standard shield and bolted on Laminar Lip---noticed it passed too much cold air, with my 15 March or so ride to CA in mind and maybe some bad weather long the way---And I like to be somewhat comfortable for 8-10 hour days in the saddle--- I put my Puig Touring screen back on, knowing it is 3-4 inches too high for good "look over", unless I sit up really straight (you should anyway).  The Puig screen does provide good air management going down the road.....but too big and high for really tight mountain roads.

On return will cut 3-4 inches off top but maybe ride the warmer summer months with standard shield and Lip anyway.

Note: Kymco uses really nice and easy to use windshield mounting system---4 big bolts and a 6mm at the bottom, but before I change again I will order the 2 rubber side mounting  pieces and set of spacers (easy to drop on floor).  The rubber and its shoulders only seems to be perfect for 2 or 3 on-offs.
