Anyone own a 300cc Internet Scooter?

Curios about your experience with any one of the 300, or larger?, motor scooters typically ordered via the Internet.
These are delivered, partially assembled, to your driveway. Then you set about obtaining the title, and getting them inspected and licensed.
Anyone want to share their experience with one of these bigger, maxi style, scooters?
Biggest I've seen was a 250. He loved it....but was asking $3000 for it 5 yrs ago. Which was more than he paid for it.....but it was "now fully sorted and running great!"(I went with a Forza)

Almost went with an "Ice Bear" 300 trike for the Missus a few years back but got the willies about the roller chain drive to the trike conversion setup. There was even a good forum stoked by an Ice Bear dealer up north that dispelled many fears of the chinese product which were many and most were real. Went with the People GTi300.

About 15 years ago I bought a Linhai 250 or 260cc (I forget which) that you can still buy some of new in crates. It has the Chinese licensed Yamaha clone engine. My wife never took to riding so I sold it after a year or two but while we had it I had a lot of fun on it. It always started right up and never had any issues. Would get up to 70 mph on the highway. When I got the fever last year for a bike or scooter a local dealer had two of these. One assembled already and one in the crate. It hink they were new 2008 or 2010 models. He wanted $2600 I think for them which was less than I paid for the one I had 15 years ago. I think I paid $3,000 at the time. If I had not run across my barely used 2018 Kymco X Town 300i for such a bargain I would have bought a Chinese scooter again.

In the distant past I used to buy "crated" 50cc scooters. They're not really obtainable in the EU anymore - all the companies have moved to pre-assembly and proper assembly checks.

I have to say, though, I rode a few of those 50ccs in to the ground, and they were great. I couldn't really fault them.
