Won't be joining their ride....
« on: March 16, 2019, 06:13:37 PM »
Saturday a motorcycle club president is being buried near Dayton and the police are preparing for a large turn out. Roads are being closed by police to allow for the bikers to travel from the viewing to the cemetery. The police and the community are hoping for peaceful proceedings.

Aaaah, too chilly for the LIKE200iLX to be on the road today.

Sounds familiar. Iv’e been a biker for the biggest part of my life, and always liked joining mass rides for welfare purposes. I always liked doing things on my own, but often wondered about joining a motorcycle club.
So a couple of months before I sold my previous bike I eventually decided to bite the bullet and join a club. The club was suppose to be for “mature, peaceful people who have done it all” .

In short, things didn’t work out the way I was hoping for. Unfortunately  (fortunately ?) I had to sell the bike, I can’t join their rides any longer, and I don’t have to be present when all hell get revved out of motorcycle’s engines at funerals.
Life is back to normal -  I found piece, freedom, and happyness as a loner on a small scooter again.
