Ground control to Major Tom
« on: May 10, 2019, 11:16:21 AM »
In the coffee shop this morning..
Swapping stories about going in places while ATGATT'd.
One winter morning I find myself in line behind my wife's boss, (the director of a large government agency) in my full winter gear including 2 balaclavas under my helmet, and large frozen ice-filled mustache.
"Do I say something, or hope she doesn't recognize me?"
She turned, stared up at me, squinted, recognized me, frowned mightily - and said, "Tom, what are you supposed to be -- an astronaut? "

"Good morning Nancy...."

Funny.
You just needed an extra piece of blue tape on your visor. And don't open it when you go inside.I
