Sold LIKE200i to Tesla owner
« on: July 13, 2019, 02:30:25 PM »
Tesla owner lady really liked my "blue & white!" scooter this morning.
She asked many questions: model year, where to buy, top speed, etc. (being a Tesla owner - she didn't ask about a price)

I explained that she might have some luck asking the local Kymco dealer to do a dealer-search for this LX color combination - surely there are plenty NOS models to be had.
She had me start it up, blow the horn, turn signals, ect.
I also explained that the stock seat is much, much better looking than is my home made seat, and I expounded on its amazingly impressive brakes - and the EFI for easy starts in all temps.

It was kinda fun talking up this bullet proof scooter to an interested owner.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yeah, right! Stig selling his Like! More likely the sun rising in the West than that! "Selling on" is a no-brainer but "selling?" Not a chance!

I have had this conversation with a lot of folks over the 7 years of ownership. The Like LX design and paint scheme is a magnet!  ;)
