Like owners have to get a little creative sometimes ha. I'm curious what Kymco's official take is on variator nut removal. I just took a look at Cyclepedia's service manual and all they say is "use special holder tool" no details, no picture!

I see now....no fins!
Maybe one of those Bizetti tools used on Vespas. 3 or 4 teeth fit into the variator's teeth. Tool is bolted into two nearby belt cover bolt holes.
A shop specializing in 50's would have something.
