A happy scooter is a clean scooter...
« on: September 17, 2019, 05:12:28 PM »
Going to do a oil and filter change on my 2018 Liberty
The Belray has been in there 3,000+ miles.
I change the oil in this scooter at least yearly.
(my 163cc Kymco gets new oil every 600>1000 miles- requires less than a Qt., and has no filter.)

But first I decided to clean with orange degreaser - and give the scoot a wash and a wax.

Sprayed with degreaser, messaged it with a long soft bristle brush (I think it's for washing taters or something...) & let soak while I washed the scooter.

checked the recently plugged tire ….no leaks

Clean enough for an oil change now! (and a little spray with ACF-50)

My fav wax...

Condolences to the matte finish owners.....

I wish I could have had a look at the Kymco 125i and the Honda Sh125i here in the States....when looking for a big wheel mid-size scooter.

Just lucky we even had the Piaggio on offer here, I guess.

My scooter gets a wipe down and then a spritz of Armor All protectant quite often. I have the matte black finish.

Did you know that the use of Armor All is frequently debated? And often passionately? Sometimes, worse than road rage?
