variator roller confusion
« on: September 23, 2019, 08:39:30 PM »
I need to replace mine, and I know that they are supposed to be 14gm.
I also noticed that the manual says that they should be replaced if the wear limit is under 22mm.
My problem is that the only rollers I can find online say that they are 18x14 weighing 14gms.

I can't use a roller thats 18x14 if my wear limit is 22 ? right?

You can tell that your rollers need replacement by checking the shape. If they are flat spotted it is time to replace. The stock replacement is 18x14 and 14gms. You can also replace with Dr. Pulley sliders in the 18x14 size which are more durable and give slightly better performance. Check out the sliders at this link...https://www.buggypartsnw.com/index.php/dr-pulley-slider-weight-18x14-for-125-150cc-gy6.html

Maybe that 22 mm is the width wear limit on the belt...?
