Glad I rode!
« on: November 10, 2019, 10:37:08 PM »
Cold, windy and spitting rain.
Once I'm dressed for the cold and moving out of the city onto country roads - I'm always glad I didn't stay home! (warm & dry)

Beans and corn have been cut, and saw some fields of winter wheat planted.
Cows were grazing and wood smoke was in the air!

Deer are very active this time of year. Saw several here at the reservoir  - but were not an issue.

Nor was my old buddy the ape. (this 17 yr old mural is in the alley behind my coffee shop - recently retouched/repaired by the artist)

A good day riding.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Thanks Stig.
I always loved this time of year in the midwest.  Kinda bracing.
Of course getting about 6 months if it a year out here I admit it gets a bit old at times.
