Improving mid range speed

I have a new kymco super 8 50 2t 2019 model restrictor remove from new top speed of 70 kph but mid range lacking between 40 to 55 kph l (very slow) to pick up speed as I’m a newbie looking for some help to improve not looking for more speed just would like a bit more  mid range pick up and thought starting here would be a good starts
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get a larger displacement bike=cheaper in the long run.
