The air quality index remains bad in much of California. Here are some photos which should give an idea of the amount of particulates are in the air.
I've not only cut back on outdoor activities, I've not put many additional miles on the bike as a result. The burnt plastics, contaminants and poison oak are a boon for Benadryl and Hydro-Cortizone cream manufacturers. I'm literally itching to ride but I also have to wash my helmet liner...





Here's a picture from two weeks ago taken 30 miles North from Where I am, smoke at Sunset.
