Maxxis \/ ---- Pancakes /\
« on: March 07, 2020, 02:08:46 AM »
Before heading out for breakfast with my daughter this morning - took a close look at my rear Maxxis on the Piaggio.
At only 5500 miles they are a sad sight compared to the Michelin City Grips which I ran for 12,000 mies on the rear of my LIKE.
Would have to go up 10mm in width for City Grips - so will likely go with Pirelli Angels next.

The village breakfast café was busy as usual today, warm and cozy - as the snow spit and the wind blew outside.
Coffee from Dino's - carried into the Dog for flapjacks and sausage.

This was all the damage we could do to our pancakes.

The Dog on a better day....café entrance is under the right hand awning.

Missed the first ROMEO'S  ride this year to Abilene KS. It was only a hour away but temperature in the 40's.  Next Wednesday supposed to be in the low 70's.  Need to run the fuel out of the Kymco 500's

Will keep in mind the longevity of the city grips when purchasing new tires.

Just curious are the city grips the longest lasting scooter tire?

I prefer a pecan waffle with a side order of ham myself.

Of course hard to beat a wild blueberry pancake with maple syrup and a side of bacon.

For some reason I'm starting to get hungry.

without saying, real maple syrup, not that colored corn syrup sh**, which reminds me, getting low, but I stock up enuf to make it thru the year. Perfect sugaring weather for sap flows. I think this will be a productive season

Of course real maple syrup, who would ruin wild blueberries with imitation syrup?
