Battery connected backwards...

Yep I did, don't judge, it was stupid mistake
. So the fuse was blown on the red wire. I put on a 5 amp fuse.
Though my oil light is staying on constantly. I put new oil in, I am maxed on oil. Any idea why that light would be staying on?

You're looking at a guy who slid under his wife's Toyota for an oil change - and drained her transmission fluid. (hey, it was dark under there)
hope you get some help with your light.

To join the confession line, I capped the wrong line when removing the carb for a jet swap the other day. I drained the oil next but couldn't refill the engine. I poured a bit in and it would blow back out the fill port.
I had plugged the crankcase breather.

If all you did is blow a fuse that’s nothing. I’m sure if I thought about It, I probably topped that by something I wouldn’t want to post 🤣
