When will feels like 30°F rides end?!

We're half way through April....and still out here in the low 30's!
Should be glad that I can still be riding.
So rusty, after several days, forgot my scarf this morning.
Again - couldn't do this without heated glove liners. (don't like muffs or screens)

PS....Dino serving Sumatra blend this morning ...and just got a wave from 2 village police cars.(well...think it was a wave...)
6' tapes on the floor and hand-cleaner dispenser just outside his shop....

I heard that NC put barriers at the state line, is that true ?

That is correct. It is not N.C. but rather the county that has blocked its borders. Similar to Blaine county on the outer banks.

Why, how?
There are so many roads into my county that wouldn't work.
And, why would a community do that? Are you on a total lock-down....with no movement permitted?

There are two counties in North Carolina that have closed their borders from out of county travel, Graham county in the Appalachians and Blaine county on the Outer Banks. And yes, all roads into the counties are blocked although there is leakage of course. I try to avoid discussing politics but the issue I see is that there is no orchestrated plan enacted with unison among the states. I will go no further as I would like to stay on this forum to discuss vehicular matters.

I thought that was Cherokee county at the state line, or is the blockade further unto NC

I know from several years of vacationing in the area, you are always surprised by yet another LEO authority, from county sheriff's to tribal police, and TVA,  the Fed park rangers and state police.  Who did I leave out
