2 stroke vs 4 stroke throttle cable
« on: October 09, 2019, 05:17:40 AM »
So I got a malossi kit PHBG 19mm a while ago, I can't seem to get the minarelli carb cap off of the throttle cable. It's pressed with brass cover and the other end does not screw off it seems. It has two slots on the top of the cap but they don't seem to do anything. So, I found a throttle cable that lists it is compatible with the Like 4T. I'm not sure it'll work with the carb but I'm thinking that the cable is probably the same for the 4T and 2T. Anyone know?

You threw me off by saying the "minarelli" carb cap.  Good thing you linked a pic.

Take your Dremel with a cut-off wheel and carefully cut away the cast part.  Then you can use it with the Dellorto carb.

Take a look at the cable end of the the 4t.  It is not compatible with the slide on a 2t carb.

Thanks, as you can see I’m confused about what’s what and can’t find straight answers anywhere.
