2013 Kymco UXV5001, shifter help
« on: May 01, 2020, 11:55:52 PM »
Recently, everything was working great with my Kymco shifter.  I had to transport the my Kymco and drove it up on my tailer.   I had issues putting the shifter knob in Park and forced it to much.  Now I'm unable to shift into Low on my shifter console.  I plan to remove my center console to so see if there is a linkage cable to re-adjust so my shifter can adjust back into Low gear on my console.  Is anyone know what I need to do to adjust  linkage?

On my 450i there is an adjustable trunion on the shift cable. On mine you disconnect the link at the transmission and manually shift the transmission then adjust the trunion until the link lines up to the transmission arm.  I adjust mine and balance the shifter at park on one end to low on the other end. Reconnect linkage and see what happens.  I adjust mine at the beginning of each riding season. Hope this might help.

Is the turnion the bar between the shot to the shifter bracket on the transmission?
