My question is not what is the best Kymco scooter for me . Rather the best one you ever owned and why . I do not own any yet but plan on getting a few soon , Outside of super cruisers anything is game .

I am not just considering 1 bike instead the bikes will be add on to my bunch of bikes I already own . The best bike that anyone had maybe the one I would buy .

Thanks for your help Tom

I've only owned one, but it's currently the best scooter I've ever owned.

Trawl the Forum and you'll see many models whose owners rave about them.
Regards & ride safe,

Doing what scooters were meant to do ( and it's not highway cruising)...I'm thinking the Agilty 125 might be the VW Beetle of the Kymco line. Rugged and reliable urban transport in 1st to 3rd world countries.

Thanks Stig. Yes the agility is really good and happens to be my only bike. I have ridden many gravel miles and for a 12 inch wheel it performed well. Also a 1000 4 inch tie-wrap pack will hold it together after hitting deer, suburbans, etc (all experienced). It is a great practical work bike, although I would consider rougher tires if I was primarily off road.

I haven't own any Kymco other than an Agility 125, so I tend to agree. The Agility 125 is more than perfect for daily commuting around town.
My wife started showing interest in joining rides in future again, so I think I will stick to an Agilty for commuting in town on my own- and getting hold of a Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 somewhere in future when the wife wants to go for a ride. I really like the Vulcan S, but I can not see myself without the comfort of an Agility.
Life is a journey. Just spend some time, and enjoy the trip.

Had an Agility 50, loved it, got tired of being a speed bump for cars. Had  Yager 200i, disappointed to find it was 173 cc, but loved it more because it was bigger than Agility but more satisfying with tach and speedo, real oil filter, discs front and rear and would definitely do highway. EFI was primo! Have now a Downtown 300i and it is the best two wheeled machine I have EVER owned! That includes the three motorcycles I had from 1960 to 1977.

So I am impressed I received a Email from Mark Haines District Manager of Kymco on a Sunday at 12:43 with who had what kind of Scooter near me !
And you all are really getting back to me about your experiences with the brand . Maybe that is a sign that there should be at least one of them in the bike room ?

My Like 150i ABS will go almost anywhere - even the interstate if absolutely necessary.
Cruises at 65 mph (indicated) and will do 70 if pushed - but that last 5 miles takes a while to attain.
More fun then the Kawasaki KLR 650 I gave up for the scooter.
Like 150i ABS

My 2019 XTown 300i is my first and only Kymco scooter---but my 11th maxi-scooter since 1990 and over 400,000 miles with them----I find the XTown fine, easy to work on,

ok once you realize it is stretched 250, and heavy.   But my reason for buying new scooters is to RIDE them.....far and wide....and of course use Freeway in many cases.

And the Kymco is about the best Maxi-scooter I have had so far.....and of course the price great, too.

Wind/ air management very good with Puig Touring screen,, cut 4 inches and Laminar Lip set for good see over.

The best and most popular was the People 150. Kymco USA and its dealers sold thousands over its lifespan. Dealers were very disappointed when it had run its course and dropped from the line up
