Kill switch faulty...possible to bypass?
« on: May 07, 2020, 12:26:14 AM »
I have a 2011 People 50 2T and I was having a no-spark issue and discovered that it appears to be caused by a faulty kill switch.  If I put the switch in the run position I have no spark, but if I rock it back and forth or leave it in sort of a middle position, the scooter starts right up.

Does anyone know if its possible to repair or bypass the kill switch?  I haven't had much luck finding any replacement ones online, so I would like to be able to at least ride the scooter in the meantime until I do.  And if anyone knows where to find one, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!

Spray contact cleaner into the switch should fix it.
