have you ever verified the speed with gps? Do you notice any stability differences between the 2 scoots because of the wheel size? My scoot has 16" wheels so I've never ridden a small wheeled scoot. Curious if it's a real thing or not..
I did not use GPS to check the speedometer, I used a traffic enforcement radar sign that has a display of your speed. Like I said earlier this was for amusement.
Wheel size- I did not notice any difference on a smooth road. On sections that had been repaired the small tire has a harsher ride. The same thing with pot holes and railroad track crossings.
Ironically with minor road imperfections the small tire had just a little smoother ride. This of course is with two different brands of bikes and different suspensions otherwise they are very similar scooters size and weight wise.
This is all seat of the pants and nothing technical. It was one of the rare times I've road both back to back on the same course. I usually never take the 150's out of town but needed to run some fuel through them.
