Sinatra and 2 shots in the dark....
« on: May 25, 2020, 02:25:07 PM »
Bonus today is Dino's great Sinatra hits cd playing inside, and outside, the coffee shop.
In the spirit of the mafia, and the holiday - I splurge and order a "two shots in the dark". (2 espresso's added to already strong blend of the day)
Dino smiles*....."good choice!"

Some say that a "3 shots in the dark" will have exactly that effect on the heart...…

Looks like your favorite coffee shop has made it through the pandemic, good to hear. Now that I'm older if I drink to much coffee my stomach becomes acidic if I don't eat something with the coffee.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Possibly why in Mediterranean counties they take a glass of water with their espressos?

My buddy Ed does that. Took me three years to figure out what he was doing. (one doesn't pry. We're seniors. And he's Navy, I'm Army you see)(it was fully 6 years before someone in the gang admitted they didn't know what my name was.... One doesn't pry.)

I'm bad about remembering names until I interact with people several times. What's embarrassing is when someone knows your name and you can't place them.

Never tried drinking water with my coffee.

That’s something which is sooo different here dependent on whether you’re in the north or the south!  We northerners being very open and welcoming (read nosey); quite different to those surly southerners!

See I originate from right on the N/S border, so I get to comment on both. Though I am geographically in the North these days...

Good to know if I ever make it to the UK.  Several small towns in rural KS everyone knows everyone. In larger cities you have some anonymity. I think it would be a blast to rent a scooter and cruise the back roads of the UK. I've always been told that some areas of the UK they don't take kindly to strangers, don't know if there was any truth to that.

Dustin Hoffman sure had a bad time of it in, "Straw Dogs"......that little Disney-like talking-animals film by Sam Peckinpah.
