450 uxv dashboard quit working, will not start
« on: July 08, 2020, 07:35:04 PM »
My wife was driving our Kymco 450 uxv and the dashboard turned off, and will not start. Any ideas on how to diagnose the problem. I've called the local dealer a number of times and have not received a returned call. Any help will be appreciated.

"Dashboard turned off and would not start" means maybe the obvious that it quit when the instument cluster went blank? Sounds like you lost electrical power if that is the sequence (instruments went blank, engine quit and then would not start). Again, I am assuming that "would not start" means the starter would not even spin the engine. Is that correct?

Dashboard went blank, engine shut off, rolled to stop, starter will turn, but will not start. (battery is fairly new and has a good charge.

Bad connection at either the start relay or ground.

Check the Fuses?
