Wow! Almost a year later and nothing other than that $150/hour place?!?

They're nice folks, I'm sure, but they are out of my price range. Juice, have you even come across any other Kymco owner's since you got yours? Or are we it for the whole area? lol.

I had hoped to have my scoot out and about a bit to meet other owners before it broke down, but that didn't happen.  :'( I learned of a couple places that service the Chinese scoots for about 1/3 of that, but I'm hesitant to use them. I'm also looking for a local place to get bearings. Do you have any suggestions or should I just try to order online?

The last two folks I had lined up to help me take a look at it didn't show up when they said, so it looks like I'll have to conjure up that "do what I gotta do" single mom mindset and tear into it and chase down any runaway bearings myself.  :-\

Well , like I said I had been using Illuzions Motorsports , and I was comfortable with them but they have disappeared . I guess if I had to I would use the Kymco dealer , but I am going to be looking for alternatives . I found Illuzions by putting an ad on craigslist . If I find someone else im comfortable with I will share them with you . My scoots are ok for now , knock on wood . If you or anyone else in the Lynchburg,Virginia area knows a good scooter mechanic or knows where Illuzions went please let us know . Thanks . Oh , by the way , I have have had pretty good luck ordering parts through Stadium Yamaha . My e-mail address is available in my personal info here on the website .

Thanks, juice. The only thing I found on Illuzions when I googled them was where they had placed ads on 7n? or something like that for motorcycles for sale about 9 or 10 months ago I think, but if I turn up any current info on them I will let you know. And likewise, if I locate someone reliable I will pass their info on to you.

Pedro, I bought my scoot in Richmond. It's pretty far from me, so I didn't bother to ask about service. But I imagine the dealer's service prices are probably high there as well. Hopefully you will have better luck, though, since Richmond is a bigger city!  :)

Pedro , I Have a People 50 and a Genuine Buddy 50 . I have gotten parts for my Buddy from info@scootrichmond.com . They seem nice , you might check to see if they will service a Kymco . Good luck .
