I did quite a number of long distance travelling on my precious motorcycles and used touring screens on them. Found it very handy and useful.
I only use the Agility for cummuting around town at much lower speed and actually enjoy feeling the wind on the scooter. By times when it rains I actially think it would be nice to have a screen just to keep some water off my lap and parts of my chest.
That's why the Lambretta will never get a windscreen as well, just used for around town rides.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

I know this may sound foolish but on the BMW'S I wear a full face helmet so the wind isn't a big issue . On the Kymco's I wear a 3/4 helmet and appreciate the windscreens especially on long trips.

I forget that there's any type of helmet apart from full face!

The full face basically is my windscreen on the BMW'S and I tend to be more aggressive rider with higher speeds.  The scooters I enjoy taking county roads and enjoy the unobstructed views and ride at slower speeds.

I like a smaller (not tiny) windscreen, mounted on a Madstad mount.  That way, I can adjust it, I have found very useful during precipitation, once on my V-strom, riding in freezing rain (yes, freezing rain, so slippery I couldn't stand, but with studded tires, I could still proceed faster than most) I could adjust the wind screen, and my face shield, so that the precipitation blew right over my head

I hate big tall barn door windscreens, had a loaner bike from my dealer once, that had one, got caught in the rain, glare was horrendous, and during the hot days, I couldn't get wind, and felt like I was going to suffocate behind it, glad it was only a loaner

I kinda like the screen on my DT300i but can see what John points out about buffeting.  Looked into one of the add-on diverters he was using and could feel the drawstrings tighten on the money bag! I'm too cheap to spring for one of those!

You can make a windshield extender cheaply from old competition face shield----nylon bolts to bolt on.
