Introduction of an newbee
« on: September 03, 2020, 11:10:12 AM »
Dear fellow Kymco riders, since l sm pretty of age (65) l  wanna give a short CV of mine.
Not that young anymore and a lifelong motorcycle rider, startiing in the seventies with an old BMW R60, then a very common ride seen on the streets of Austria where l grew up.
Now retired an living in Italy for some years already, l could thanks to some surgeries not manage and handle heavy cycles anymore.
Well, last week l saw a pretty scooter, here in Udine, testrode and now own it.
Choice was easy, inexpensive, light and most usable in urban traffic which is terrible here in Italy. Kymco like 200i it is.
Collegues l will post further.
Ruffus

Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

Thank you and welcome! Same here with being old and wanting to still ride! You picked a good scooter for light and still stable. We have many with that model so you are "home!"

;D Thank you so much for this warm welcome.
I already used your knowledge, stig, at changing driving lights into led lamps.
At first sight l could not imagine how to get a grip on them. But with your illustration worked out fine, eveb l wished having way smaller hands. Pics will come.
Txs alot , Ruffus

Thank you Ruffus!

Local scenery and a scooter - the best kind of photos for a scooter forum!

Well done.
