Pancakes gone, great tree, pond
« on: October 15, 2020, 03:23:36 PM »
This café just added pancakes to their menu last winter. Became a favorite stop on a snowy day for daughter and I - when she wasn't in school (and I was... 'between opportunities') Bring Dino's coffee in and grab a table amongst all the locals and their laptops.
Covid closed their dining section and not sure how they're surviving just selling take-out pastry and wines. Place truly was the village living room. Old style coffee shop. You could nurse a cup of coffee for 3 hours over your book or laptop...or just doze on one of the couches with a book from their lending library.

Locals tell me guy who did Twilight Zone lived here years ago.

I think it's Serling, actually, but never liking science fiction - I didn't watch his show.
