A timid owner at the service desk!

Geesh!
A fellow Liberty owner had the final gear case fail completely and spew gear oil all over his rear tire.
The dealer repaired it under warranty.
Other than collecting the keys and riding off - the owner chose not to "bother the mechanics" by seeking any explanation of work done, parts replaced, etc.
Now his smart key has locked him out of starting his Liberty. Again it was repaired under warranty - and he will be collecting it soon , and once again "will just be happy it is fixed" - and won't bother the mechanic with questions.

I don't act a fool when picking up a vehicle after a repair - but a few simple questions are certainly in order. Heck - give 'em a chance to brag what great mechanics they are.

I don't get it.....
And, WHY post the story if you aren't going to offer more than - "had this problem - and now I don't"!

I just like this photo....
