Some local fellows were out flying their restored B-25 today. I never fail to recognize the sound of this old twin engine bomber when it comes over the house.
(it is a "J" model I think) They bring it out on nice days.
A few years ago they gathered B-25s for a meet and flyover at the Museum of the U.S. Air Force, in Dayton, Ohio. 17 B-25 bombers took part in a two-day tribute commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Doolittle Tokyo Raid.
That is the Museum below the bombers. It is an amazing place to visit. No tax=payer funds were used. Admission and parking is free.
All of these old birds are attractive for one reason or another.
