Another Helen Keller story while we worry about gas....
« on: May 12, 2021, 06:56:13 PM »
I stumbled out of my 2.75 hr eye Dr appointment the other day....eyes dilated like a crack-head in a tunnel....
To celebrate, my daughter took me downtown for a coffee .

She was walking on my left (the side of my very much less good hearing ear) and cautioning me about steps, door sills, and traffic, etc.

She finally realized I was hearing very few of her instructions, took me by the arm and said, "For Pete's sake - this is like taking Helen Keller for coffee!"

one of my greatest blessings is having this kid so late in life!

Gotta have a scooter pic--- My old Burgman. The red 3M pinstripe was very reflective at night. Ermax screen from France - very much better than the turbulent stock screen.

Stig at least they are correcting the problem.   If you want a amazing story it would probably be the young man that sold me a new cell phone. He is totally blind in one eye and very limited vision in the other (legally blind) .  Very intelligent young man with a lot  knowledge at 22 years old. He is not allowed to drive but has a electric scooter he uses for transportation.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Ermax? Lovely screens, had one on my old T595.
That model year they came in 2 colors. All black, or this grey and black. It was an Internet purchase from a dealer 97 miles away. Special internet price, color choice and free delivery to my driveway.
