Must have been some kind of Beautify America campaign years ago - these big billboards have all been moved way back for the interstate highways. This one faces I-70.
(Guard Rail Story: my late Grandpop used to use the guard rail near his VFW to
guide him around the bend & over the creek, on his way home after a couple of refreshments with his buddies. I inherited his Dodge
"Volar" (he'd knocked most of the
E's off of it). If I slammed the door too hard more bondo would fall off of that right side*. Between his cataracts and the refreshments - his piloting was a 'caution'.)

* for a few years I was single-parenting 3 little kids. They always made me stop and let them out of that Volar at least 3 blocks from school. I didn't let my new wife see that side of the car until I had a ring on her. She was OK with marrying an older man with 3 kids in tow - but I was afraid that Volar might be a deal breaker
