Removing fork, exhaust & wheel nut were straightforward.
The inner fender must be removed to get the wheel off of the axel. Four fasteners - buried.
THAT was a bear - much more involved than finding & removing the fender fasteners on my LIKE200i!
Started at 8AM, finished cleaning up at 2PM.....subtracting 1 hour for driving to the Kymco dealer to have tires swapped and new valve stem installed. ($40)
Temps were 80's but humidify was wicked high. I was leaking like a.......
Dealer took me right in, did a good job and I tipped the guy $10 for his careful work with my rim (plus I'm coming back with the front wheel soon!)
Old gent rolled in with a new 300 Yamaha scooter for 4,000 mile service. His buddy kept him upright when he heard 3 days & $372.
Anyway - I hope these tires last a l o n g time----I ain't looking forward to fooling with that fender again!
Lots of Torx fasteners on this scooter. BTW - the official Piaggio download service manual is useless for 'simple' stuff like wheel removal
