Mount LeConte ,6400' , is in those rain clouds.
Actually,  just discovered that I could do this from my phone....all these years!

Years ago I rode the Smoky Mountain roads on a CBR600 which belonged to a NJ buddy called John Lorenzo. Great holiday, thanks for stirring those memories.

The rental Grande Soccer Mom we're driving has Massachusetts plates on it. Still the locals cut me no slack in these switch-backs. Tailgating, passing illegally, etc.
'Course decades ago I was used to driving the Berkshire's.
In Ohio, if you change elevation - you've just run over something.
Have not seen any scooters or sport bikes in Smoky Natl. Pk....just big cruisers. Usually with a passenger.
Might be a helmet law here, too?
Don't recall any bare heads.
