Not a clue
« on: June 25, 2021, 04:53:35 PM »
I went to put the battery tender on the Piaggio Fly. After a short search for the battery I looked it up on the MODERN VESPA site. Remove the Piaggio badge to expose a torx then remove the front grill to expose the top of the battery box. Then another torx to take the cover off and you have access to the battery. Thank God I don't have to change the battery.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Often think the designers of machinery ought to be made to operate/maintain them for a while!

One thing about my Kymco's is extremely easy access to the battery.  BMW is bad about burying the battery deep in it's bowels.  Burgman is in the glove box sitting on it's  side. Majesty is on the tail under a cover. Lambretta is under the bike sitting on it's side with a metal bar holding the top in place, kind of like the game of OPERATION to put a tender on it without touching metal.
