and I've never had a topcase or scooter which would swallow my giant helmets :)

Well, I guess there is some advantage to having an average-sized cranium. My new top case fits my helmet with room to spare.

Checked my top case at the village this morning - glad I carry a full set of Torx wrenches (Piaggio's fav fasteners!)
One screw in the grab rail/top-case mount was working loose.
Thought I felt something funny back there.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Why is that?  Weight distribution?

Not going to presume to speak for Stig, but I'm always careful to load the heavy stuff under the seat, leaving lighter stuff for the top case.  ANY top case will adversely affect the scooter's handling, the degree to which this happens is directly proportional to the weight in there!
