Every ride! The AK has a TPMS :) but really I reconfirm it's read out every few rides (aka once every two weeks). Same with my cars.

They make aftermarket TPMS systems for motorcycles, might not be a bad idea.

Thanks to this, checked today propably the first time after buying in june. First station, closed, only gasoline available. Second station, new automatic, choose pressure first then put in valve wait till it beebs and done. I prefer older model next time. Back tire valve has so little space and straight valve so it didnt fit. Third station, asked the guy to check but no time, alone at work the whole station. I took the adapter 45 degrees from my wallet and rooled it in. That helped luckily, got some air also in not out when playing with those f***ing toys.
2.2 bar front, 2.4? bar rear, warm tires unfortunately. Helped, you feel when driving, and maybe lower gas from now.
Should do every second week I would say.
Tire pressure is extremely important for proper handling,  fuel economy is a added bonus.

Alright KK you've shamed me into checking the pressures on my X-Town, well, you and the somewhat vague feel I got from the front end this morning when nipping out to the supermarket.  Turns out the front was about 6 PSI underinflated and the rear about 8 PSI.  Lesson learned, don't be idle and get them checked regularly!
Regards & ride safe,
Neil

I bought a GV and it handled horribly, especially under 30 mph. Front tire was way underinflated.  New tires and proper inflation made a huge improvement.

I carry a Slime pump and if the bike rides mushy I plug it in the direct-to-the battery socket I installed and pump them up. Otherwise, I check every two weeks.

I had a Slime pump, when I really needed it, it didn't work, I just went out and picked up a Ryobi +1 inflator,  made most sense, cause of all the other +1 tools I have

Love those Ryobi inflator  bought a second one but they stay home.  I have a small tool bag with a extremely small lithium tire inflate along with a extremely small lithium battery  jump starter and lithium work light and still have room for a few tools in a bag slightly larger than a shaving kit bag.  All from Wallyworld.

Kind of like insurance you hope you never have to use it.
