New guy looking at 500I

I'm looking at a used 500I tomorrow and I need help with how many hours/miles is too many. Problems I should look into and such. Sorry to drop this on yall but it just came up. It's at a dealer and in the $4000 to $5000 range . Thank you.

At one time the 500 had some camshaft issues, so I have read.  You might want to some research there. If properly maintained 2-3k miles would not be an issue for me. All depends on condition and maintenence of the machine.  There are blue book values for these machines and...does the dealer offer any type of warranty??  I own a 2015 450i with 2500 plus miles with no issues. I do keep up on all maintenence!!  Keep us posted....

It's a 2014 with 650 miles. Older fella owned and swapped in on a side by side. Dealer sold and serviced. I'm going back wed to look it over/maybe purchase. Will check on warranty.
