On how it's made- Vespa scoofers

On the TV program  (How it's made)  they profiled the making of a Vespa 150cc scooter.  Was surprised they use 3 pices of  stamped sheet metal spot welded together  for the frame.  I know all my Kymco's use a tubular frame like a motorcycle.
