Slip in a ride pre-snow, or ?
« on: January 23, 2022, 10:17:54 PM »
My pup deserved a walk at the reservoir in the state park - so we did that instead.
Finally warmed to the 20's.....snow coming - but if we get up early we can beat it.
(I don't ask my small dog to walk a couple miles in snow.)

Reservoir is frozen solid!

We start down there in the parking lot.

Then hike up here to the Group X bench for my cardio......

Then across the dam.....

then down along the spill-way and back to the truck....the dry cold snow was starting here..

Back at the Chevy the snow was starting to accumulate...

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Cute pooch Stig.  Here are a couple of library pics showing mine.  The yellow one is 8 years older now, with a grey snout to rival mine...

When you get old Neil - those guys can pull you in the cart!
Good plan!

Mine tows me when she sees the truck.....after the treat that's waiting there - but she couldn't pull the foam off a Budweiser.

Whaddya mean "when you get old"?  I AM old.  Still feel 20 something, but that's belied by the old git who looks out at me from the shaving mirror every morning!  Had a spell when my darling wife insisted I walk the dogs one at a time just in case they pulled me over on spotting a squirrel...
