Quannon rev limiter
« on: March 15, 2022, 11:26:13 AM »
Hi!
My bike is the sportbike variant of the 125cc Kymco quannon.
I am trying to get as much power out of it as possible.
It is limited to 10k rpm but the naked versions limiter is at 12k. This is weird because the cdi part number for both bikes is the same.
Does anyone know what determines the limiter.

Thank you in advance.

PS: if someone has the wiring diagram for this bike that would be extremely helpful :)

If you continuously run that 125 or any small bore single cyl bike at 10k, it will not run for long.

Well yeah, except that the stock naked model has the same engine but the limiter is higher.
