Xciting S400 Legs wind deflector
« on: April 11, 2022, 12:58:35 PM »
Hi everyone. I bought a xciting S400 2020 and i am really happy with that, although i am wondering about the wind on legs. Is there someone with the same feeling that is not really good? Does anyone here know about any kind of legs wind deflectors for this model?
Thank you!

I'd check Asian sites....alibaba, Taiwan, Chinese, etc. They make all kinds of accessories for Asian scooter owners!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I've always taken the approach that if I didn't like the wind then roll up the windows.

I get the impression you haven't owned or ridden any motorcycle in the past. There is way less wind on a scooter than a typical motorcycle. With a Termoscud apron you will eliminate wind on the legs. Any flap kind of wind deflector will only deflect straight on wind from the front, and even then not completely. Any side winds will be felt on the legs regardless how much of a deflector you put on without fully enclosing your legs. Same with wind on the upper body.

I've seen the add-on little deflectors you might be thinking of....attached to Burgmans I think it was. They were actual SUZUKI accessories.
They must have helped some - or Suzuki wouldn't have found a need to offer them to owners of their maxi.
Again...it would not surprise me to see that some Asian shop is offering something, in various colors🙂, for a Kymco maxi.

😄 XR400, Pegaso 650 and CBF600.
I bought the scooter because is what i need now to go work confortable, and i think this one has very nice and beautiful design, but is too much wind on legs for a scooter 😅
But its ok, i will check that susuki ones, maybe it can be used for this purpose.
Thanks
