Thanks for the link, Hawk! Too rich for my blood and stunning complexity. Desireable at less than 500 pounds weight should be doable for old guys.
Review leaves unanswered questions: hp and torque, tachometer? Battery specifics, transmission info?
Not really up to speed on front tire designation but 15 inch wheels is great for a maxi.

I think the review stated the price was high..definitely higher than customers in North America would be willing to pay. Very different scooter market in Europe, though.

What years were the T-Max sold here in the States?
I've seen the S-Max at my dealer - but never the T - the only big scoots I've seen there are the Bugman 650 (& 400 and 200), and a used 500 Piaggio once.
The DT 300's look very big to me. They seem to me to be as big as my Burgman 400.....but are probably 100lbs lighter.

Honestly - a Burgman 400 will cruise America at 75 mph with ease. (that Burgman guy on youtube does it hands free while making a sandwich) Why anyone would need anything bigger is a mystery to me....except for that male thing between the ears and that "gotta-have-it" thing.:)

I'm a pretty good sized guy who likes smaller, lightweight scooters.....as some smaller guys like their great big scooters.
Room enough for both of us.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

not sure if the T Max was ever sold here??  I do find it interesting that here in the US scooters are for 'nerds'..(not my view, of course, but a somewhat common thought)...but in Europe (and I believe they specifically mentioned Spain, France and Italy) it's the hip, young, upwardly mobile, trendy thing to do..to ride a cool maxi scooter.

The reason I want something bigger than my DT300 is because of all the comfort I read about with the maxi scooters out there like the new AK550.
Performance wise my 300 is fine just where it is but the non-existent suspension kills my body after a 40 mile ride.
And guys, speaking of bodies~ us men dont have bad "hips" we have bad "pelvis`es" hips are for women  ;D

So why when fixed, for either sex, is the surgical procedure called a “hip replacement”?
