Rain stopped. Sun and big cruisers out....
« on: May 09, 2022, 08:41:29 PM »
In just the past hour:
Saw a pack of 4 big bikes riding together.  Pros...! Helmeted and geared up.

A youngster sitting up & riding one handed, because he bought the so uncomfortable sport model Kawasaki!

A smallish guy leaning way forward trying to reach the super widespread grips from his too low, too far back seat .....on his monster cruiser. Bet it felt really cool on the dealership floor when he sat it!
No helmets on these last 2 riders.

Why is it that GoldWing riders never look embarrassing?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I have heard several bikes pass, some rumbling, some thumping, a few sewing machines with tire noise, no screamers

Here in the UK I’d say the ratio is 2 or 3:1 sports bikes to cruisers. HD’s never made sense to me until I toured an Electra Glide across 5 states back in the 90’s. PCH? Well, I had to do that on a Harley didn’t I?

Lucky fellow, that!
I did the PCH from Ensenada to San Fransico.....but on foot, with a guitar and a back-pack.
(cooked up some shell fish down on the shore one evening. Next morning I climbed back up to the PCH, and there's a sign, "Don't Eat The Shellfish in this area!" Fortunately I'd overcooked them or something. Like trying to eat a City Grip tire )
