NSR: Taking cover in "Weather MidWestern" **
« on: June 09, 2022, 05:33:02 PM »
We don't have a lock on exciting weather --- but~!

Daughter talked me into going for coffee Tuesday afternoon.
"No rain for hours..."
Picked up our coffee at Winan's open-air shop.

Crossed over to the covered tables.....

...with a couple of pastries from Le Torte Dolci next to Winan's.

30 mins later.......it started and built into a summer down-pour! We got wet. Fortunately she's the kind of woman that just laughs when she gets soaked!

THEN....last evening.

"Debris sighted in the sky!" last evening, during a tornado warning here.
Too much over night storm debris for me to hazard a dark scooter ride this morning. ...So pup and I took a walk....with restrictions!

A neighbor's house took a direct hit from tree....

Trees down all around here, including entrance to our dog-walking state park.

Blocking alternate walking route...

and destroyed a path-side info sign here...

We just ducked under this one...

*Yeah, we took cover in the safe spot in our house last evening to wait out the warning.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yeah, no worries 👍
Several hot hours of sun baked their adhesive before this storm went through.
New roof is warranteed for a long time.
